The challenge
The business was one retail outlet with serious sourcing strength behind it, but no brand of its own and no way to reach a customer who had not walked through the door.
What we did
- Positioned the business as a brand rather than a single retail outlet
- Built the brand identity and its premium positioning
- Shaped the range across formal, casual and pret, including custom design
- Built and launched the brand’s own e-commerce store
- Established and ran its social media presence
- Opened the brand up to customers outside Pakistan
- Kept the B2B wholesale side working alongside the consumer brand
In short
Social Republic took a business that was strong at sourcing and invisible as a brand, and built the brand, the storefront and the audience around it. The shop became a name people buy from directly, without giving up the wholesale trade underneath it. The clearest measure of how that went is what happens now when Markaz-e-Silk’s own clients need something digital rather than something made: it sends them to us.
